As we build this page, you can expect resources, training opportunities, mission reports, and guidance on getting started in and progressing through ES Specialties. For now, we've put together a new document called Getting Started in Emergency Services. It's in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) format and we hope it will help new members get ready for their first exercise or mission! In the meantime, please contact the Wing ES Staff if we can be of any help to you or your unit. Contact information for the staff members is available in the Paperless Wing system by going to http://pw.scwg.cap.gov. If you're a CAP member and you haven't created a Paperless Wing account, please do so as soon as you can. Among many other things, this allows you to sign up for e-mail lists and notifications of upcoming and ongoing events and missions. Thanks for visiting! Capt Billy Geier, CAP Director of Emergency Services South Carolina Wing, Civil Air Patrol |
